Notice of Bryant Geating Passing into Eternity

Bryant Geating Passing into Eternity.

Please pray for the Geating family as Pastor Bryant went home to be with Jesus the evening of December 13. This is a celebration for Pastor Bryant as he has lovingly served his Lord and Savior faithfully for so many years. He was a pastor at COD from 2002 till 2016. He is now in the very presence of that Savior, Jesus Christ. All of our prayers are for the family and especially his wife Lilan as they go through these next days and beyond.

The service will be held Saturday, Dec. 21 at 11am at Chelten Church.

Mr. Geating was a wonderful blessing to my family. He took interest in helping my son when he was a teenager and showing support to my mom Viola Switzer. He was a happy and positive man of God who loved people. He was always a bright ray of sunlight that brightened wherever he went. We thank his family and the Church of the Open Door for allowing him to share his time faith and encouragement. I pray that God will grant the Geating family comfort and peace and continue to carry his legacy of Christ’s love to others. God bless all of you. Thank you. Best wishes from Dawn Dudley.

I just found out five minutes ago that Bryant went to be with the Lord. I will keep you in my prayers. I remember how you had Julianna with you for a long weekend back when we were having troubles. You were always a blessing. Bryant will be missed by all who knew him. I wish I had been there today.

Very, very sorry for this loss. I first came across Pastor Bryant and his family, as it were, late last year, through the chance occurrence of coming across one of their Christmas YouTube music videos. I was sufficiently struck by the joyful feeling of family that they expressed to want to see what else they had on YouTube … and it was all good stuff! To the Geatings, please accept my condolences and prayers for strength and comfort. May the Risen Lord bless and keep all of you always. Yours sincerely, Roy (Canberra, Australia).
