The Gospel’s Message: Righteousness by Faith Alone in Christ

Galatians 2:15-21

The reason we are to live deeply rooted in the Gospel is because: it alone deals with our sin through the sacrifice of Christ; it demonstrates its power by virtue of Satan’s all-out-effort to destroy the one preaching it; and it alone offers those believing in Christ a completely righteous standing and acceptance before God.

But, is the Gospel sufficient for living in the day-to-day grind? Paul offers us a positive example of what it means to actually live within the truth of the Gospel. The Gospel life is not our living by means of our effort but rather the living that comes through the very power of the One who offers us life.
